Mom and I got to drive out to Dave's fire station and see where all the action happens! His station takes about 45 minutes to get to. It's a very pretty and easy drive. The station is in a real rural area with horses and big houses! Dave showed us around and introduced us to his crew that he works with every shift. Dave is one of just three guys. Mom and I baked the firemen cookies and got to eat a picnic lunch with Dave. The station is very nice! It's clean and big...you wouldn't think MEN live there :o) Dave was proud to show us everything from the kitchen, bunks, and bathroom, to the trucks, fire hoses, and jaws of life! It's very nice to have a visual of where he goes to work. We continue to be so proud of you Dave!

This is where Firefighter Dave sleeps and hangs up his clothes!
