Ginny's Wedding Weekend!

My sweet friend Ginny Braddock got married in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina October 2nd. Ginny and I met at UNF my freshman year of college, became roommates my sophomore year, and next door neighbors my junior and senior year. She is my life long friend and it was such an honor to be chosen to be her Matron of Honor for her special day.

Because I got to drive up with Ginny earlier in the week of her wedding, we enlisted the help of Aunt Mary, Uncle Will, and cousin Eli! They graciously drove in from Atlanta and helped keep McKenna so Dave could go to work and school without missing or taking the time off. Dave joined us in NC the day of the wedding and we drove back together Sunday.

McKenna loved her time with Eli. We are SO THANKFUL to have such wonderful family!
Mary is due with our niece, Ava, sometime around Christmas. Eli and McK are 4 months apart and our 2nd babies will also be 4 months apart! It's perfect :o)
It's either this or the port-o-potty!

Ginny was surrounded by those that love her most! She was a stunning and gracious bride! It was such a blast hanging out the week before her wedding getting all the details checked off!

Gin's rehearsal dinner and wedding reception were held at a beautiful bed & breakfast. The bridesmaids got to spend the night Thursday night and Friday, and as a gift Dave and I got to stay there together Saturday night after the wedding.

Another plus was Meredith Hendley, another lifelong bff, was a bridesmaid! It was such a blessing to have time with Mer and for us 3 girls to be together before Ginny got hitched. Mer and I put together a small, intimate bachelorette party for Gin the night before her big day. It was a candy-themed evening and it was a blast. We laughed and danced, ate junk food and stayed up late talking about ALL SORTS of things! :o) A perfect way to send Gin off!!

It was a beautiful day for a wedding! We took a trolley up to the wedding site, which was breathtaking - overlooking the mountains! The night ended with a great dance party and yummy food!

We love you Gin and couldn't be more happy for you & Randy!

We did lots of running around town the week of the wedding. It wasn't all work though...we picked apples and ate lots of yummy food...it was just awesome being with Ginny and the Braddock family! They spoiled me rotten.
