McKenna started off slowly, looking to Mommy to make sure it was OK if she touched the cake. After permission was granted, she very gently touched the icing with her index finger letting it sink down into the sugary goodness! It didn't take long for the fun to begin. She really enjoyed submerging her hands into the cake...not necessarily eating any of it. She did attempt to eat some several times, but always made a face like she had sucked on a lemon...I'm thinking it was just too sweet for her (as if there really is such a thing). I think she will enjoy finger painting when that time comes b/c that's the vibe we were getting!
The mess was up to her elbows! Her daddy wasn't sure she was really understanding the concept, so he decided to give her a demonstration....lead by example right???
Then things got a little crazy...cake ended up on her forehead which led to her hair and it was all down hill from there!
The final products: McKenna and the cake!
Off to the tub! Doesn't she have this glazed over, full of sugar look!!!

I love how Mck has a "birthday month!!!" Too fun! She is so pretty and so happy, we know you just love every minute! Have fun celebrating all month! :)
