FINALLY!!!!!! My girl is drinking out of her sippy cup. I had been pushing her formula in her sippy cup since she was 6 months old and McKenna has wanted NOTHING to do with it. I pushed the formula because that's what the pediatrician told me to do, and plus I thought it'd be a lot easier to wean her from her bottle when she switches to cow's milk. ANYHOO, it was not working. So finally I caved and put in some water. She downed it the very first time! She slugged the water as if she were dying of thirst! So I don't even care about the formula thing...she'll drink milk out of the cup eventually...not to worry! I was just excited to know my girl will and can drink out of her big girl sippy cup :o) Big girl drinking out of her big girl cup!
So happy....................................still working on the learning curve :o)
YAY! It is like a whole new world once they can drink out of a cup. And now you will only have to change the milk thing at 12 months instead of the milk and cup thing! What a relief! So proud of her!
Dave and I were married on July 9, 2005 here in FL where we have made our home. Dave is employed with the Fire Department. I finished up my 3rd year of teaching 3rd grade and am able to stay home with our first baby who was born June 2008! We are very excited about all of the new changes in our life together. We are also excited to be able to share these new adventures through this blog site. We feel very blessed by our family and friends and are thankful for all of the blessings the Lord has seen fit to give us!

Way to work the sippy cup, McKenna. We think she is training you and it's not you training her!
