On Dave's day off yesterday we loaded up and went to the park. It was a pretty, but chilly day. The sun was shining but there was definitely a chill in the air. We knew that it would only get colder through the week so bundled up and went. I had seen a girlfriend's pictures with their little one (a month younger than McK) in a park swing and thought..."I need to do that with McKenna!" So ever since I saw the pictures I've been dying to get her into a park swing. She didn't know what to think at first. She was very stiff and motionless :o) She just stared at me like, "Mom...what in the world is going on?" Once we started swinging her she let loose and had fun! She held on tightly though, but was all smiles! We ended up taking a nice walk too and just enjoyed the clear blue skies and sunshine. Today the fireplace is going and it's 41 degrees outside...brrrr! We won't be swinging today :o)
Second, thanks for the feedback on Zumba. My friend reported back today and said it was just OK. I wonder if it has to do with the instructor. Regardless, I plan to check it out hopefully next week.
Thirdly, I read the verse you have in your header on another blog yesterday and it spoke to me so much that I put it in my sidebar. It was cool to see it here on your header today :)
Looked like McK was enjoying being out and trying something new. I kept listening to hear her squeal, but didn't hear it. We miss her bunches and love the videos. We miss you guys too!
One of these days we'll get the girls on the swings at the same time! So glad she enjoyed it. We finally put the baby swing up on our swing set out back.
Dave and I were married on July 9, 2005 here in FL where we have made our home. Dave is employed with the Fire Department. I finished up my 3rd year of teaching 3rd grade and am able to stay home with our first baby who was born June 2008! We are very excited about all of the new changes in our life together. We are also excited to be able to share these new adventures through this blog site. We feel very blessed by our family and friends and are thankful for all of the blessings the Lord has seen fit to give us!
