It's hard to believe our little girl is already 2 weeks old! We had our 2 week check up appt. this morning at the pediatrician's. Dave was able to meet us there after coming off of a shift at the station. McKenna is weighing in at 7lbs. 15 oz. which is 3 more oz. than at birth! She's grown an inch and is now at 21 inches (75%) and her head circumference is 15 (90%). The doctor scrubbed McK's belly button so hard is popped right off...we think she'll have an outie :o) We have to wait a few more days for it to heal and then it's BATH TIME!!! McK goes again in 6 weeks for her 2 month appt. where she'll get her first set of shots :o( Until then, the doctor says she's perfect (we agree) and should be gaining about an ounce a day. He also said her color looks great, no jaundice, and if she stays clear of a fever, that's all he cares about! So that's our mission...an ounce a day and no fever!
McKenna continues to be a good eater...surprise, surprise. She goes about every 3 hours during the day and about every 4-4.5 hours throughout the night. Her awake time still seems to be in the wee, early morning hours...but we're getting through it :o) She's an absolute joy and we're treasuring every minute!

She is still in the 99 percentile of cuteness! Glad to know she is doing so well! I miss that little girl! You and Dave are GREAT parents.
